Hartford Stage, Directed by: Darko Tresjnak, Scenic Design: Alexander Dodge
I’ve had the pleasure to work with the sound and projections crew of “Rear Window” here at Hartford Stage. Rated one of the best regional theaters in the country after winning several Tony awards last year for “Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder”, Hartford Stage and director Darko Tresnjak have worked this piece starring Kevin Bacon into a dark reimagining of the classic short story by Cornell Woolrich, immortalized in the Alfred Hitchcock movie of the same name. This is a truly enormous set with five levels of “apartments” and at least seven points of automation including a three-story revolve. It’s been an exciting few weeks!
